Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help schools support children who may be at risk of underachievement. This includes pupils who are eligible for free school meals, those who have been in care, and children of service families.

At Pelynt, we use our Pupil Premium funding to ensure that every child has equal access to learning opportunities and can achieve their full potential. This may include academic support, access to enrichment activities, or help with wellbeing and pastoral care.

We carefully track the progress of all children and use evidence-based strategies to make sure the funding has the greatest possible impact. Our aim is to close the attainment gap and give every child the best possible start in life.
