Our Safeguarding Staff

If you have a concern about any child's safety, please speak to one of the members of staff detailed below

Pelynt Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The Health and Safety of all children is paramount.

Parents and carers expect the school to provide a safe, secure and caring environment in which children can flourish.

To meet this expectation, the school implements a wide range of measures and policies, including the School’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policy. Details of these can be found in policy section on the school website.

We are committed to inspiring, challenging and safeguarding all our pupils. This is best achieved when we work together towards success.

At Pelynt Primary Academy, the context of the school means that staff training considers safeguarding children in rural areas, understanding concerns that may be raised right from pre-school age and involves working very closely with other agencies such as Early Help Hub and Police. Staff are vigilant when visitors arrive and of security measures relevant to the school's unique physical layout and location. Pelynt has a split site for its pre school, so both the nursery provision and main school have Level 3 safeguarding trained staff. All visitors MUST report to the main school to sign in.
