KS2 Teacher

Location: Polperro Primary Academy

We are looking to appoint a KS2 Teacher. This position is full time on a fixed term contract for 2 terms in the first instance, starting January 2020.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher who:

* Is a highly motivated, skilled and experienced classroom practitioner;
* Can motivate and inspire our pupils to achieve their very best;
* Is a caring and warm individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team.

Teaching Assistant

Location: Brunel Primary and Nursery Academy

Closing Date: 14/11/2019

Brunel Primary Academy are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS provision.

We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, positive and innovative individual who will be working primarily with nursery aged children based in our Nursery/Reception class. The right candidate will be flexible, friendly and commited to driving children's learning forward across the EYFS. You will be expected to be able to assess, plan and use an online Learning Journal.

This position is for a fixed term contract working 18.5 hours per week (8.45am - 12.30pm Monday - Friday) over 38 weeks per year, term time only.

The successful candidate will preferably hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) and have previous experience working with nursery/reception age children.

Community Governor

Location: Blisland Primary Academy

Blisland Primary Academy is seeking Community Governors to add to the Governing Body to help drive the strategic development and ethos in the school. A community governor can be anybody who lives or works in or around the areas in which the school is located. We are looking for people with a wide range of experience, and candidates do not need to be experts in education. We seek individuals who have drive and energy and are willing to use their skills to support the school and contribute to the educational outcomes of our pupils. Your knowledge of the local community is vital. A key skill for all governors is to be able to question and challenge and work as part of the team of governors and school leaders to identify viable solutions to problems and opportunities.
As part of Bridge Schools Trust support to new governors is provided through an established induction process with ongoing opportunities to develop skills through training and shared best practice.
Local Governing Bodies meet up to 6 times a year and the role involves looking at the data and information provided in the form of a Head of School report and other documentation before the meetings, thus each meeting requires preparation. You will also be expected to visit the school at least once each half-term so you can understand how the policies work in practice and how the data plays out in the classroom. This provides you with knowledge about your school so you can represent this to the stakeholders including Parents/Carers, the Staff and the community.
